Daily cash register software
A daily cash register for every branch, closed at the end of each day
Opening cash, income and expenses during the day, the end-of-day count: in Primsis each branch’s cash is kept day by day. If the count does not match the expected amount the difference shows at once; when the day closes its records are locked.
- Shortfall and surplus shown at close
- A closed day’s records are locked
- Per branch, with a monthly overview

The problem
A cash difference found weeks later cannot be explained
When the register is not counted at day end, or the count is spread over a notebook and a chat, a difference becomes untraceable the further it gets from its source.
- The count is written on paper and nobody remembers the next day what each amount was.
- A past day’s entry changes afterwards and nobody knows who changed it.
- Branches keep cash in different ways, so the head-office total is its own project.
What it does
Opening cash
Cash and balances at the start of the day are entered; they can be changed while the day is open.
Income and expenses during the day
Sales collections, expenses and transfers are recorded by payment method (cash, card, transfer, Cep Lira).
End-of-day count
The counted amount is compared with the expected one; a shortfall or surplus is shown at close.
Closing and locking
When a day is closed its records and opening cash are locked; to change anything the day must be reopened first.
Monthly overview
Days of the month are shown as open, closed and approved at a glance, so an unclosed day cannot slip by.
Per branch
Cash belongs to the branch: a Branch Manager sees their own, the Customer Admin sees all. The register is linked to the income-expense ledger.
How it works
- 1
Enter opening cash
At the start of the day write the cash and balances in the register.
- 2
Record during the day
Enter income, expenses and transfers with their payment method.
- 3
Count and close
Enter the end-of-day count, see the difference, close the day.
Frequently asked questions
What does daily cash register software do?
It keeps a branch’s cash and balance movements for each day in one place, and at day end compares the count with the expected amount and shows the difference.
How is the end-of-day cash closed?
You enter the count; Primsis compares it with the expected amount and shows a shortfall or surplus. When you close the day its records are locked.
What if I need to add an entry to a closed day?
You reopen the day, add the entry and close it again. A closed day cannot be edited directly.
Which package includes the daily cash register?
Both: the Lite package includes the income-expense ledger and the daily cash register, and the Premium package adds commission and target tracking.
How are several branches’ registers followed?
Each branch has its own register. The Customer Admin looks at all branches with the branch selector; a Branch Manager sees only their own branch.
