Incentive program management

Define your incentive program as rules, not as formulas to rewrite

Tier tables, multipliers and prerequisites are template data in Primsis, not code. When a new period’s program arrives a new version is released, and closed periods keep the version they were calculated with.

  • Ready templates for 10 sectors
  • Versioned rules with effective dates
  • A new sector is added by template, not code

The problem

Incentive programs change every period, spreadsheets cannot keep up

When the new period’s tier table arrives, formulas are updated by hand and the record of which period used which rule is lost.

  • Several copies of the same file circulate and nobody knows which is current.
  • A rule change alters past periods too, so the closing figure is no longer reliable.
  • The staff incentive rules live apart from the paying party’s program, often in one person’s head.

What it does

  • Ready sector template

A template is assigned by sector, party and channel type: transaction types, KPIs, target criteria and incentive rules arrive together. Ready templates cover telecom, insurance, retail, automotive and six more sectors; other sectors are added with a new template.

  • Bands, steps and matrices

Range, step, lookup and matrix tables express price bands, sales points, target achievement and multipliers.

  • Versioning

Every rule change is a new version with an effective date. Closed periods can be recalculated with their own version.

  • Incoming and outgoing programs

The program you earn from the paying party and the ones you pay staff, managers and coordinators are managed together, with separate rules.

  • Branch and province multipliers

Choosing a province when you add a branch brings the province group and its multiplier from the template; the staff table can change with the segment, such as mall or street.

  • Period calendar

Periods open from the template (for example the 1st to the last day of the month); transactions count in the period of the date the template names, such as the activation date.

How it works

  1. 1

    Pick the sector and party

Sector, party and channel type are chosen at setup; the matching template is assigned.

  2. 2

Preview, switch off what you do not use

The transaction types, KPIs and incentive rules to be assigned are listed; you can switch off a KPI you will not use.

  3. 3

    Add your branches

Add branches one by one or from Excel; province groups and multipliers arrive and the first period opens by itself.

Frequently asked questions

What does incentive program software do?

It lets you define the paying party’s program and your own staff incentive scheme once, and calculates them automatically from your transactions every period.

Do past periods break when a rule changes?

No. Rules are versioned; a closed period is locked and corrections are separate entries.

Can I define my own staff incentive rules?

The outgoing program’s rules are also kept as data in the template. If you need a scheme specific to your company, we will go through it in a demo.

Which sectors are supported?

The core is sector-independent; ready templates cover telecom, insurance, retail, automotive, real estate, services, appliances, fuel stations, field sales and education. Other sectors are added with a new template.
