Packages and license: branch and user quota
What the Lite and Premium Packages include, how the monthly amount comes from the branch and user quota, and what to do when a quota is full.
Primsis works with two packages and the branch and user quota you buy. This page explains what each package opens, how to read the License screen and what to do when a quota is full.
Packages
| Package | What it opens | Roles |
|---|---|---|
| Lite | Income-expense ledger, daily cash register, ledger reports, branches, users, settings | Customer Admin, Accountant, Branch Manager |
| Premium | Target tracking, commission, entitlements, clawbacks, recalculation, reconciliation, employees, integrations; the plain ledger is included | All roles |
Landing page
With the Lite package the landing page is not the Dashboard: it is the Cash register if the template defines a daily cash register, and the Ledger if it does not.
Moving from Lite to Premium loses no data; the ledger and the register are the same screens and the same data.
The License screen
The License screen in the menu shows:
- Package: the name of the package you have.
- Branches and users: the number in use and how many more can be added.
- Monthly amount: each item with its unit price, quantity and total.
- Trial: if you are on a trial, the date it ends.
The customer admin uses the Upgrade license button on this screen to move from Lite to Premium or to raise the branch and user quota, and sees the new monthly amount before saving. A Lite account set up with the sector-neutral general template also picks its sector template on the way to Premium; ledger and cash records are kept. An upgrade only goes up; the accountant only views the screen. Upgrading is done in the web app.
When the trial ends
The trial lasts the first 3 months from the day you finish setup; nothing is charged during the trial. A notice appears at the top of the screen during the last 7 days. When it ends your account becomes read-only: your data is not deleted and you can still sign in and view screens and reports, but you cannot add or change records. Write to info@primsis.com to continue; once your account is moved to a paid plan the restriction is lifted.
How is the monthly amount calculated?
The monthly amount is the number of licensed branches × the branch price + the number of licensed users × the user price. It is worked out from the quota you bought, not from usage. Current prices are on the pricing page.
When a quota is full
- A new branch (setup wizard) and a new user (an invitation, or reactivating an inactive user) cannot be added; you see an "upgrade your license" message.
- To free a place in the user quota you can deactivate a user.
- To raise a quota or move to Premium, the customer admin upgrades on the License screen. To lower a quota or move to a smaller package, contact your channel.
Who counts as a user?
A user is every active account that signs in, the Customer Admin included. A staff record with no sign-in is not a user.
Moving to Lite
You cannot move to the Lite package while an active user has a role it does not include (Coordinator, Sales Representative); deactivate those users first.
